HBI’s J.P. Wieske Testifies on CT Single Payer Bill

On March 6, 2025, HBI Executive Director J.P. Wieske testified in front of the Connecticut House of Representatives Committee on Human Services on House Bill 7101. Wieske’s testimony focused on the known issues with single-payer systems including higher-than-estimated costs, lack of choice, conflicts with the availability of union plans, and other topics.
